The Socialists are Playing to Win
Last week, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez became the latest self-proclaimed socialist to advocate getting rid of the Electoral College. Those of us who understand basic facts about the history of our country, the creation and adoption of our founding documents, and the difference between a democracy and a republic know that the arguments put forward for abolishing the Electoral College are wrong.
As these attacks on the Electoral College have escalated, I have done what I can to sound the alarm and rally support to defend our republic.
It might not matter.
Here’s why:
Based on Facebook ad disclosures, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is spending $54,935 a week to get her message out, find supporters, and rally people behind causes such as getting rid of the Electoral College. This is on top of all the free favorable coverage she and her fellow socialists receive in the mainstream media.
The bottom line is that the socialists are playing to win.
If you don’t want to see the United States of America become the next socialist paradise like Venezuela, we have to close the gap. I will do what I can to be a leader in this effort, but I need your help. Here are three things you can do right now:
Sign my petition to Protect the Electoral College
Share this post. While paid ads are an effective tool to reach people on Facebook, sharing information with your friends and family is free and very effective. It only takes a few minutes of your time.
Donate. So far supporters of the Electoral College have made $1600 in generous contributions towards my effort to protect it. I have used the funds to test Facebook ads on this issue. Our ad campaign is optimized and ready to go. For every dollar donated we can reach 5 people.
There’s a reason Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is spending $55,000 a week on Facebook ads. Bernie Sanders is spending $200,000 a week. The socialists know that they need to change people’s minds. If they succeed, they have big plans to spend tens of trillions of dollars of your money. Whatever generous contribution you make to help me fight this fight now will be small in comparison to what the socialists will take from you if they win. We literally can’t afford to lose this fight.
